Chicago-based Recovery Toolbox Inc. has released new software, the Outlook Recovery Toolbox, to recover the contents of damaged and unreadable Outlook personal folders.
With the Outlook Recovery Toolbox, users select an Outlook profile or stand-alone personal folder file (.pst, .ost) as the source of damaged content and the data recovery mode. Users can then preview the source file content in a built-in browser and save it to a new .pst file or a set of files for messages (.eml), contacts (.vcf), and notes (.txt). The new files can then be imported into Outlook or another application that supports the file formats.
