Foxit Corp. announced Tuesday an upgraded version of its PDF reader, Foxit Reader 6.0, now available in a consumer and an enterprise edition for PDF creation, reading, and annotation.
Users of Foxit Reader 6.0 can turn Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files into PDFs with a single click, as well as drag and drop hundreds of file types into the reader to convert them to PDF format. Users can also add the PDF conversion features to an application with print capabilities using Foxit’s PDF printer feature. The upgrade includes a new ribbon style interface modeled on Microsoft Office 2013. In the alternative, Foxit offers a classic interface with pull-down menus.
