Newly formed small to midsize law firms in need of office space might look to PivotDesk, a company officially launched Tuesday to help connect startups with host companies that have office space to spare. PivotDesk has raised over $3 million dollars in Series A funding backed by Foundry Group.

PivotDesk gives growing companies access to host companies excess space without the binding rental commitment of a long-term lease, while providing the host companies with the necessary tools to manage their relationship with startups over time. PivotDesk also aids more established companies with dynamic growth into new cities.
