Lexis for Microsoft Office legal drafting software now integrates with Lexis Advance research system. Although LMO still works with the first generation system, Lexis.com, the new version takes advantage of Lexis Advance’s customized search tools and results management features to facilitate document review and validation and speed document creation.

LexisNexis Legal & Professional designed LMO to streamline the workflow necessary to create and review documents in Microsoft Office and improve the quality of work product embedded in Microsoft Word and Outlook. LMO users can make use of research content from LexisNexis and the internet inside their drafting tools, comparable to Thomson Reuters’ Drafting Assistant. The integration with Lexis Advance software and content now gives users more options to search and retrieve relevant content directly inside their work product.
