IntApp Inc., a provider of time recording software for law firms, Wednesday announced the acquisition of Advanced Productivity Software Inc., makers of DTE Axiom desktop and mobile time entry software.
According to Jim Tharpe, president and founder of APS, the company has had a longstanding relationship with IntApp and it was a good choice to carry on DTE Axiom’s mission to streamline lawyer time management. Dan Tacone, president of IntApp, said that the integration of APS’ and IntApp’s "teams and technologies opens exciting opportunities for law firms looking to enhance time recording and lawyer productivity." The software combination aims to better integrate time management with Microsoft Outlook as well as practice and financial management systems from vendors such as Thomson Reuters’ Elite and Aderant Total Office
