Document contents software company Microsystems announced on Tuesday that it has entered into an agreement to provide its EagleEye software to LexisNexis to be used in LexisDraft, a legal drafting program for Microsoft Word available in the United Kingdom.

EagleEye will become a component of LexisDraft, a Microsoft Word toolbar launched July 9 that grants users access to LexisNexis without having to leave Word. According to a press release published on Microsystems' website , EagleEye is an automated program that examines legal agreements for inconsistent terms and phrases and grammatical errors, among other things, speeding up the review process for attorneys. In a January press release , Microsystems said that several large law firms, including Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati; Winstead; and Sutherland Asbill & Brennan utilize EagleEye.
