The International Legal Technology Association‘s annual conference is billed as an educational event, but this year the conference was a summer blockbuster for product news. The event had many new product announcements and continues to be a big draw for new companies such as BleuAcre Systems.

BleuAcre offers a software platform used to store everything that matters to a case, from email messages to pleadings to transcripts and research notes — designed to make it easy for litigators to find, save, and recall information from inside or outside the office. It supports a full-text, optical character resolution (OCR) engine that automatically scans, extracts text, and indexes content. Content in BleuAcre’s software is made available via a mobile friendly website and search engine. Any object in BleuAcre can be tagged, which makes it easy to find and collaborate on documents. BleuAcre is a privately-held company that licenses on-premise software and provides software as a service. The startup is engaged in private beta testing.
