Thomson Reuters Corp. augmented its WestlawNext platform by launching a new tool for corporate and transactional attorneys on Monday.

In a press release, Thomson Reuters unveiled its Business Law Center, which is designed to help transactional attorneys work more efficiently by providing them with access to a vast amount of information concerning individual companies, including Securities and Exchange Commission filings and comment letters, Thomson Reuters deal abstracts, news stories, bond offerings, contracts, company profiles and transactional histories. “The Business Law Center is more than just access to EDGAR filings,” said Thomson Reuters Marketing Manager Mark Butler to Law Technology News. “It’s a valuable tool that allows corporate lawyers to access public and private content.”
