That theme of data security — particularly in the context of safeguarding companies’ confidential data — was repeatedly emphasized this week during the Association of Corporate Counsel’s annual meeting in Los Angeles. At the “Your Mobile Workforce — What You Should Know About BYOD and COPE” panel, the speakers spotlighted the importance of understanding the risks associated with “bring your own device” policies.
