Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton augmented its e-discovery practice by landing the global e-discovery counsel for one of the largest financial institutions in the country.

Craig Cannon, officially joined Kilpatrick this week from Bank of America Corp., where he had served as global e-discovery counsel. Cannon, who is based out of the firm’s Winston-Salem, N.C., office, will be Kilpatrick’s firmwide e-discovery counsel. Prior to joining Bank of America in March 2011, Cannon served as senior litigation attorney at The BB&T Corp. (Branch Banking & Trust) for nearly three years, where he handled discovery for all domestic and international matters.
