As 2013 comes to an end, it may be a good time to consider “out with the old and in with the new.” Many people assume that you can’t get a job during the holidays, but the reality is that it’s a great time to hunt. There are many legal technology vacancies, but employers are frustrated that they aren’t attracting the right applicants with the right skills.
1. Spend before the end: Most legal organizations have staffing budgets with annual allocations for headcount. As the fiscal year draws to a close, hiring managers want to spend that money to avoid 2014 budget cuts. So they are always looking for “opportunistic hires” around the holidays.
