Rand Worldwide Inc. has given its e-discovery division a makeover.

On Monday, Rand Worldwide announced in a press release that its Rand Secure Archive e-discovery and data archiving division would be rebranded to better reflect its expanded data backup offerings. According to the company, Rand Secure Archive will now be known as Rand Secure Data and include a data recovery option due to increased client demand for data backup services. To justify its rebranding, Rand Worldwide pointed to findings from an October white paper indicating that while 98 percent of organizations have implemented a data backup system, a whopping 75 percent of those organizations were not satisfied with their backup systems.
