Lawyers love lists. And most lawyers love to read. Put the two facts together and you have a book list. The only trouble this time of year is that readers need to make a list of book lists for 2013. Book lists for the best mysteries, best airplane books, best cookbooks, best travel books, etc., for 2013. NPR, however, is taking a break from lists to try and make its year-end book recommendations easy for you.
Instead of lists, NPR has put together a make-shift Venn diagram of books on its website comprised of more than 200 titles recommended from the likes of NPR’s librarian Nancy Pearl, Morning Edition’s David Greene, Fresh Air’s Maureen Corrigan, and Philipp Goedicke from Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me! The diagram of book recommendations and reviews is NPR’s Book Concierge.
