The karma gods sure must like football and legal technology, because after several weeks of downright miserable weather, Sunday could not have been better for some outdoor fun, and the little quick snow we expect Monday shouldn’t significantly impact travel to or from the Big Apple.

>> Full disclosure: I’m writing this a couple hours before the Super Bowl kicks off, so congratulations to the winner. If Seattle wins, I know Donna Payne, CEO of PayneGroup, will be very happy; and if Denver gets the hardware, John Tredennick, CEO of Catalyst Repository Systems will have bragging rights. I have to confess, the only time I have any interest in football is when Eli Manning embarrasses the Patriots, and that’s just because I’m a beisbol girl and my New York Yankees passion spills over to rooting against the Red Sox’ siblings. But I also happen to love the Manning brothers’ wicked sense of humor. Take, for example, the best Saturday Night Live skit ever (that didn’t include John Belushi.) In any case, congrats to the winners, now everybody go home (please)—it’s time for LegalTech New York and we need all the hotel rooms. :)
