Following a quickly expanding trend, Baker & Hostetler has introduced its new cross-practice information governance group, led by partner Judy Selby (pictured left)—a frequent contributor to Law Technology News—and counsel James Sherer. Both are based in the firm’s New York office. Baker & Hostetler has 900 lawyers located in 14 U.S. offices.

Selby, a partner, has experience in first- and third-party complex insurance matters, and defends privacy and product liability class action suits. She founded the firm’s e-discovery and technology management team, and also created the discovery management team overseeing all discovery issues in the Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities liquidation, the firm notes. She is an editor of the firm’s Class Action Lawsuit Defense blog.
