Update, May 15, 8:30 a.m.: LexisNexis has decided that Fitzpatrick’s title is Managing Director, North American Research Solutions. “In this role, Sean is responsible for the U.S. Research business, which delivers information resources and insights to legal professionals in law firms, corporations and government. He also oversees the company’s Canadian business operations,” states LexisNexis.
In a brief statement on May 14, LexisNexis officials confirmed that Robert Romeo, CEO, North America Research and Litigation Solutions, “has decided to pursue new opportunities outside of the company and will be leaving the organization as of June 30.” (In Tuesday’s story LTN incorrectly stated that Romeo had already left the company). Under Romeo, the unit was comprised of three major businesses: research, litigation solutions and LexisNexis Canada, according to the company’s website.
