LegalTech West Coast is rapidly approaching (June 24-25). The first day of the legal technology event, which will be held in Los Angeles, will include about 20 panels on five different tracks. Here is a rundown of upcoming highlights from each of those tracks during the first day of LegalTech.

The first panel of the day on the Modernizing E-Discovery Track is called “Using Mobile Technology in Electronic Data Discovery.” Hunter McMahon, director of discovery and technology at Driven Inc., will moderate the panel, which will examine the security challenges in conducting electronic e-discovery on mobile devices, among other topics. Speakers on the panel include: Ronie Schmelz, partner at Edwards Wildman Palmer; Dionne Rainey, partner at Hunton & Williams; and Richard Rushing, chief security officer at Motorola Mobility. Driven Inc. is an e-discovery company headquartered in Falls Church, Va.
