The Sedona Conference announced Monday, July 7, that it is forming a working group to focus on data security and privacy liability.
According to the Sedona website, the group will help private and public organizations, including law firms, protect against and respond to data breaches by analyzing trends. It will also “assist attorneys and judicial officers in resolving questions relating to legal liability and damages regarding data breaches.
