Resonant Legal Media, a graphics and technology company, has acquired TrialGraphix Inc. from private equity firm Conversion Capital Partners. TrialGraphix, headquartered in Miramar, Fla. (about 25 minutes from Miami), provides litigation software and services, including graphic design, presentation technology, litigation consulting and jury research. The financial particulars of the transaction were not disclosed.

With the acquisition, the company has been renamed to RLM | TrialGraphix. The deal was consummated on Oct. 16, and announced Wednesday. TrialGraphix was previously acquired by Kroll in 2007, and operated as part of the company’s Kroll Ontrack legal technology unit. Providence Equity Partners, which in Aug. 2010 acquired Kroll through its risk consulting and information services company Altegrity Inc., sold TrialGraphix to Conversion Capital Partners in Sept. 2011.
