As the sub-market of cyberinsurance matures, more precise methods of devising premiums are developing, said panelists at ALM’s Cybersecurity and Data Protection Legal Summit at The Harvard Club in New York City Tuesday.
The hour-long panel, “Understanding and Applying the Industry Standard for Cybersecurity for Law Firms” featured three speakers: Paul Ferrillo, a counsel at Weil, Gotshal & Manges; Christine Marciano, president at Princeton, N.J. data breach insurance company Cyber Data Risk Managers; and Mark Sangster, vice president of marketing at Ontario-based cybersecurity company eSentire Inc.
