Guidance Software Inc., a digital investigation and forensic software provider, announced on Dec. 3 that its EnCase eDiscovery product integrates with Dropbox for Business application programming interface. The Dropbox for Business API will support EnCase’s collection and preservation of electronically stored information in Dropbox business accounts to apply to tasks in e-discovery workflow, which include early-case assessment, first-pass review, review and production. LexisNexis Legal & Professional announced on Nov. 17 the rebranding of its Knowledge Mosaic product to Lexis Securities Mosaic. The rebranding acknowledges the product’s renewed emphasis on securities law and practice. Mosaic’s research platform for securities and capital markets is now aligned with the Lexis Advance system and includes improved functionality and a streamlined user interface. The rebranding and upgrade to Lexis Securities Mosaic includes the Canadian SEDAR (The System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval), a securities filing system developed for the Canadian Securities Administrators.
