Twenty-six percent of surveyed companies currently have centralized information governance models, said Forrester. That number is expected to more than double in the next two years to 53 percent. Centralization will occur increasingly through outsourcing and technology, said the 11-page report. Proliferation of file shares (45 percent), lack of coordinated governance (42 percent) and mobile devices (41 percent) pose the biggest end-user device governance challenges, respondents said.
