Apple Inc.’s Safari browser meets most users’ needs. In my experience, the browser is reliable and efficient with a variety of handy features, including a reader mode that strips articles down to the bare text, eliminating annoying ads, images and other distractions.
Despite Safari’s overall usefulness, many iPhone and iPad users looking for faster performance, better readability, Flash support or some other feature may want to try out another iOS-compatible browser. Here are four alternative browsers worth checking out.
