Prior to Guidance Software Inc. naming Patrick Dennis as its president and CEO, the forensic and e-discovery software maker appointed Linda Souza to the newly created position of vice president, product marketing and operations. Souza leads Guidance Software’s marketing operations, product marketing and content development teams. She is responsible for product marketing for the entire EnCase software platform, from designing and executing market strategies to tracking market intelligence. Prior to joining Guidance Software, Souza recently served as vice president, marketing, for Central Desktop Inc., a maker of a cloud-based enterprise collaboration software, and director of marketing for Everbridge Inc., a developer of emergency notification software as a service. Souza received a master’s degree in global marketing from Emerson College and Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
Ipro Tech, an e-discovery and litigation support software provider, announced on April 16 that industry expert Paul Armbruster has joined Ipro as vice president of client strategy. Armbruster brings experience from eBay, Cooley, and Heller Ehrman to Ipro. He will primarily manage relationships with Ipro’s corporate clients and lead them to implement best practices to maximize workflows and a return on their investment in Ipro. Armbruster is admitted to practice law in Australia and is a member of the Arizona State Bar. He has a graduate diploma of Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology in the Brisbane Area, Australia, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Southern Cross University, New South Wales Area.
