Index Engines Inc., an enterprise information management and archiving software provider, announced integration with CommVault backup catalogs and tapes with the latest version of its Catalyst software.
Index Engines controls costs and risks associated with legacy data on tape. The Holmdel, New Jersey-based company’s Catalyst software manages legacy tape catalogs and delivers a search view into archived tape content, allowing the identification of allowing individual files and email to be found and extracted without the original backup software. Law firms and enterprises can retire legacy tape applications and transition customers to a new backup platform.
