As big data, the internet of things, and other communications tech advances, data privacy and cyber security come to the forefront of worry not just for consumers and tech leaders, but for attorneys as well. Luckily, experts in that field are willing to share their wisdom on the subject. Most recently, the national law firm LeClairRyan launched a blog titled Information Counts, and will use it as a forum to discuss data breaches, privacy, cyber security among other items with commentary from lawyers in several offices.

The blog will focus on the legal ramifications of the information economy — addressing how the swiftly changing technology world impacts the legal one. Lawyers from eight offices will contribute, and members of LeClairRyan’s privacy & data security practice team will address specific issues.
