Qlik Tech Inc. announced today that Recommind Inc. has integrated Qlik Sense, a self-service data visualization and discovery program, into Axcelerate, the San Francisco-based company’s on-premise and private cloud e-discovery platform.

Qlik Sense is an analytics platform powered by an associative, in-memory analytics engine. “Associative” comprises in-memory data storage and Qlik’s proprietary engine, allowing users to search and navigate data and create visualizations along a continuum of input from multiple sources. The product uses columnar in-memory storage, which uses unique in-memory entries and pointers to represent relationships among data elements. The architecture supports data compression, allowing more data in RAM and fast response times.
