Cyberattacks are a major threat to all businesses. Cybercrime costs about $445 billion a year when looking at economic impact worldwide. It has been said that companies have either been attacked or will be attacked soon.

Two recent documents are giving useful suggestions on how to prepare for a cyberattack. One of these is from the U.S. Department of Justice, “Best Practices for Victim Response and Reporting of Cyber Incidents.” It lists recommendations for a cyberbreach response plan.
