Neudesic and BA Insight announced today that The Firm Directory, a profile-based expertise location system for law firms and legal departments, will integrate with BA Insight’s content software portfolio, which includes Content Connectivity and Content Classification products. The Firm Directory, built on the Neudesic Pulse enterprise social collaboration platform, will also work with BA Insight’s tools to create intranets and extranets in Microsoft Corp.’s SharePoint.
The Firm Directory is an experience discovery system designed to support knowledge management and marketing initiatives in law firms and legal departments. The software improves cross-selling and knowledge sharing by decreasing the time it takes to locate the right people with the right experience, skills or relationships required to pursue a matter. The Directory enables firms to capture attorney relationships, court affiliations and proficiencies in a LinkedIn style available to mobile devices.
