Chicago-based Huron Consulting Group has announced the expansion of its information risk and compliance capabilities, adding John Loveland as managing director of its Legal segment. In his new post, Loveland will use his e-discovery and data risk experience to provide Huron clients with advice in these growing areas of concern.

“As data breaches become more prevalent, most organizations are increasing their focus on protecting their information assets, and developing or strengthening their data privacy and security programs,” said Bob Rowe, executive vice president of Huron. “John’s background in information governance and e-discovery will help us arm our clients with the most efficient ways to manage, store, and leverage information while reducing costs and mitigating risk of a breach.”
