The scrutiny over the technological proficiency of attorneys and legal professionals has heightened in recent months, bringing the complexity of the issue into focus. It is clear that cohesive and measurable solutions are needed. With this goal in mind, Tikit has announced it will be the latest vendor member to join the Legal Technology Core Competencies Certification Coalition (LTC4).

LTC4, a non-profit organization, focuses on raising awareness of core competency programs by developing industry-standard, workflow-based legal technology core competencies and certifications. Bonnie Beuth is a LTC4 founding member, chairperson of the LTC4 board and information systems trainer at FordHarrison. She told Legaltech News she believes several factors have converged to create this new emphasis on technological proficiency and efficiency.
