In response to difficulties arising in the international e-discovery process, Xerox legal services (XLS) has opened a Hong Kong data center to support secure, compliant data discovery and transaction support in the Asian-Pacific region.

XLS, the legal and compliance solutions division of Xerox Corp, said in a statement that the company opened the center to meets clients’ needs regarding increased anti-corruption and anti-bribery scrutiny. Other motivations noted by the company were the rise in Asian patent litigation and licensing practices and a greater transparency into Asian banking practices.
