Some 31 percent of in-house counsel say their current or former company – at which they worked – have experienced a data breach, according to a new study from the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Foundation.

Breaches are more than twice as likely to take place at large companies, the study adds. Of the in-house counsel who saw a breach at their companies, some 47 percent said it took place last year or this year, the study reveals.
