Punctures to an organization’s cybersecurity infrastructure come in a variety of forms and from multiple angles, but one source often overlooked is the threats posed from internal actors, resultant from both malicious intent as well as remiss. Security solutions provider RiskAnalytics is attempting to alleviate concerns regarding employees and security via updates to its RiskTool risk management system, which allows IT administrators to report, manage and identify employee cyber security awareness training.
The updates come in the form of a system-wide dashboard, and the aspiration behind them is to alleviate concerns from gaps in policy, training, best practices and inspection checklists. RiskTool is a role-based platform tailored to compliance officers, HR/training specialists and security professionals. Company officials said in a statement that the company “reduces the gap between policy development and adherence” by amalgamating training in performance, security and policy compliance into an individual platform.
