Software integrations have been focal in allowing legal professionals to assemble virtual workplaces, expediting the steps of the litigation process while unveiling avenues for cost savings and, most importantly, convenience. Storage Made Easy (SME) and Veritext are next in this growing line of companies coming together to address the needs of legal professionals, with SME’s integration of its secure enterprise file sharing fabric solution into Veritext’s LawStudio platform.

Veritext’s LawStudio serves as a collaborative workspace where attorneys and staff can use a number of tools for case information management. SME’s Enterprise File Share and Sync Fabric – the software which is integrating with LawStudio – combines public and private sharing under a unified storage infrastructure that IT departments can manage and use to set controls on governance and audit. This, according to a statement released by CME, allows IT to “regain control of ‘cloud sprawl.’”
