Legal technology companies are hiring sales staff above all, and successful applicants likely may have technology backgrounds, according to a recent survey.

The Smokeball survey showed that sales positions are most in demand in 2016, with 73 percent of participating legal technology employers planning to hire this category of employee. Next in demand are employees who have backgrounds in customer service and product development, as 64 percent of the employers are planning to hire in these two categories.
