Taking the next logical step in its growth trajectory, Catalyst has announced its expansion into Asia with the appointment of two executives. Dan Whitaker has been named managing director to oversee the company’s sales and operations of its greater China region, Catalyst’s first expansion into the country. In addition, Junghun Lee has been appointed as Catalyst Korea’s business development manager.

“It is a natural step for us to follow our clients into this growing market,” Catalyst CEO Catalyst John Tredennick told Legaltech News in an interview. “Catalyst has been dealing with APAC companies and disputes since 2008. Our clients and partners led us to open offices and data centers there in recent years. That same demand is causing us to expand in China, where most of the world’s largest companies are now doing business.”
