As the world becomes more interconnected via the Internet, the types of threats that face businesses become more global in scale and more similar for all businesses. As a result, while American businesses are fighting off cyber threats, businesses in Europe are waging the same war.
In fact, according to a survey from the Irish IT professional trade group Irish Computer Society (ICS), one-third of data protection officials in the country admit to a data breach within the past 12 months.
