Expediency and costs are concerns with any workflow process, and technology in some form or another is typically a proposed solution. Evolver attempts to address these universal concerns as they pertain to the redaction process, announcing Jan. 26 new features for XLerator, the company’s cloud based e-discovery application.
The new features aim to help users both review and produce redacted native Excel files in a way that helps organizations save both time and costs. At the moment, legal departments redact files in image format, an industry process that Evolver said in a statement “fails to provide an accurate depiction of the information contained in an Excel native file,” which “may not always comply with production requirements between parties.”
