1. Attackers Habits and Best Prevention Strategies

By now, we all know how widespread cyber attacks are, but how many of us truly know the value of the information being breached? The results of “Flipping the Economics of Attacks,” a survey of over 300 cyber threat experts in the U.S., U.K and Germany, may be surprising to those familiar with the sensationalism following large breaches like those affecting Target and Ashley Madison. The survey reported that on average, the annual capital stolen by a cyber attacker was $30,000, roughly a quarter of the average salary for a cybersecurity professional.
