Interim guidelines for the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act (CISA) have been released by the departments of Homeland Security and Justice. The new guidelines focus more on privacy and civil liberties concerns in connection with the CISA, according to Jason Edgecombe, an attorney for Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz.

“It’s a step in the right direction” to protect privacy and civil liberties, he told Legaltech News.
