Legal technology is still an emerging field, and companies are still working to maximize efficiencies for the tasks facing the modern legal department. In effort to develop better tools, document management solutions provider Omtool is taking direction from those working within the legal world of today, launching its Client Technology Advisory Council (CTAC).
Comprised of IT leaders within major law firms, consultants, and other Omtool partners and clients, CTAC will provide a collaborative platform for new solutions. The segment the group will address is “common legal firm environments” and their technology challenges, Omtool said in a statement. The issues brought to the table will revolve around “all things document-related.”
