The legal profession can be a tough market, but new tech solutions are aiming to smooth the transition from law student to practicing lawyer. Among them is Lawcountability, a cloud platform for current and future legal professionals to network and develop their businesses. On March 9, the startup announced the launch of its ‘Meet a Lawcountability Lawyer,’ program, an effort that aims to help law students in their career planning by putting them touch with the lawyers that may hold keys for their futures.

Via this program, attorneys that subscribe to Lawcountability are paired with students using the software’s student version, Lawcountability J.D. The company said in a statement that this platform will provide the opportunity for students to speak with and potentially meet lawyers, from whom students can “seek advice as well as garner potential referrals to other practitioners.”
