Cybersecurity now appears a concern for both big and small banks, based on the breaches noted in a recent survey.

Bank Director’s 2016 Risk Practices Survey, sponsored by FIS, reported that 18 percent of those responding say their bank experienced a data breach. These breaches were almost as likely to occur at a smaller bank – with $500 million in assets – as at a larger bank with over $10 billion in assets.
