James Jarvis recalls the moment in college when one of his professors talked about seeing things “the way they are.” At a point in his early career, a lawyer described the challenges his firm was facing stemming from “not seeing the forest for the trees.” Both experiences would stick with Jarvis in his design work and fuel his passion for examining how people interacted with technology. They would push him constantly toward one pivotal question: “Is there truly an opportunity to do something different and better?”
Legaltech News caught up with Jarvis to get the answer, and discuss his experiences designing Thomson Reuters’ newly introduced eDiscovery Point Platform.
