On April 4, printing giant Canon released 11 new black-and-white laser printers, which are being targeted to lawyers among other professionals. With these new printers, Canon U.S.A. expands its imageCLASS product lineup. The new machines include five single-function printers, four multi-function printers and two copiers.
“For mid-sized-law firms, the devices can offer cost recovery via an optional, integrated uniFLOW implementation, and can complement larger devices such as imageRUNNER ADVANCE while providing more secure device access for individual or workgroup level users,” Kevin Price, manager of marketing and product planning in the desktop printing and imaging solutions division of Canon U.S.A., told Legaltech News. “Additionally, models such as the LBP352dn – which outputs at up to 65 pages per minute and supports up to five paper trays – can serve as a consolidation point for firms who have too many inefficient, poorly managed devices.”
