“There’s been a lot of focus on data security, and it’s not only relevant for data from a SaaS perspective, but regardless of where data is,” says Brad Harris, vice president of products at Zapproved. And he’s certainly not joking — with data breaches spanning corporations (Anthem, Sony), government entities (Office of Personnel Management) and law firms (Cravath) alike, getting hold of an organization’s data should be among the top priorities of boards and their corresponding legal counsel.
The emergence of the cloud is, for many, foremost among concerns. That’s why, to help ease some of those concerns, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Zapproved teamed up for a webcast titled, “Inside Enterprise-Class Security for the Legal Cloud.” Along with Harris, the webcast included Lee Harding, CTO at Zapproved, and Scott Ward, solution architect at Amazon Web Services.
