While the cloud has brought much efficiency and agility to legal services through hosting legal tools and data, it does not entirely address all of a law firms’ online needs. In this day and age, it is as important to grow and maintain a proprietary online brand presence as it is to have legal tech accessibility. And the law-practice-as-a-service (LPaaS) provider Uptime Legal has come out as a big believer in this idea, announcing its acquisition of the New York-based law firm-focused website design, SEO, and internet marketing company Jurispage.
In a statement, CEO and founder of Uptime Legal Dennis Dimka said the acquisition is in part a response to its clients need of a “trusted partner to help them not only with their web presence but also to create efficiencies in their practice. It made sense for us to identify a company that was exclusively legal and shared the same values.”
