What’s the biggest challenge facing legal and IT professionals in managing e-discovery? It’s not understanding the workflows or issues in technology, but rather resource deprivation, according to a recent survey by E-discovery and information governance software provider Exterro.

The poll found that resource deprivation, or limited worker bandwidth and technology to overcome e-discovery challenges, is seen as the number one challenge facing legal and IT professionals, as 36 percent of these professionals rated it the top challenge, trailed slightly by frustrations over not having a specific e-discovery process (30 percent).
