According to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in 2014, five patent offices accounted for 82 percent of global patent filings. The fifth, though, represents a growing area for intellectual property: the European Patent Office.

The latest is IP software provider Alt Legal, who has partnered with cloud-based legal practice management provider Clio to offer Alt Legal’s IP filing and management mechanisms to Clio’s European customers.
